Thanks to the community for the warm welcome

Folks,
After being open a week, I can't say thank you enough to the folks in Ashburn who have stopped by to say Hi and welcome to the community. I've gotten a tremendous amount of people who want to volunteer with us.We're finding our way around our new diggs and getting the kinks worked out of our system. so continue bring your items to us. We open for donations everyday at 10 am. We stop taking donations at 6pm ,when we close the store down. Check our home website at www.loudounhomeless.org for a donation guide. The only difference in what I accept and what Sterling accepts is large furniture. Ashburn doesn't have enough room yet for large furniture items. Those you'll have to take to Sterling.

Little Birdie whispered something about taking donations on Friday July 18,2008

Folks, I have it on good authority that if you bring your donations after 10am on Friday you will be able to drop them in Ashburn. Official date to start taking donation is Saturday July 19th but we have the donation drop off area prepped and ready to take donations in. So bring 'm on.

GRAND OPENING IS SATURDAY JULY 19TH 2008

Come celebrate my 4 year anniversery with Good Shepherd by visiting our newest thrift store - Hope's Treasures in Ashburn. Located at 20684 Ashburn Road. Ashburn, VA 20147. Store opens at 10 am.
We will be taking donations on that date as well.

Sneak Peak of the new store.

We're down the homestretch now. Staff has been working to get the new store stocked and organized for grand opening. We will not be open for sales or donations until that date.

We still have alot of work to do before the dedication of July 15th.

The long hard year has paid off the store is even more beautiful than I could image.
